Pricing Questions, Answered
Do you take insurance?
No. Buffalo Family NP is a direct-pay practice, which is exactly why visits are longer and prices stay flat. Many patients keep insurance for prescriptions, specialists, imaging, and hospital care. As a courtesy, a superbill is provided so you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer.
Is membership health insurance?
No. Membership covers your care at this practice and pairs well with a high-deductible or catastrophic plan for everything beyond it.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes — HSA and FSA payments are accepted.
How does member vs. non-member pricing work?
Members receive everything at a deep discount — essentially the cost of the materials plus a small charge for time. Non-members pay the standard rate, shared before the visit.
What if I need care before the pricing is sorted out?
If you really need something, we will make sure it gets done, and pricing can be figured out after you are well. This practice operates under the 6th and 8th commandments: do no harm, and no stealing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Membership is month-to-month with no long-term contract. We simply ask for notice before your next billing date. The final cancellation policy will be spelled out plainly in your membership agreement — no fine print.
